When creating art I imagine a subject, merge it with lines, swirls and sometimes textures to create a sense of movement.

I enjoy painting tight with intentional lines, planned placement of the subject and colors to create a good composition.

At other times I choose a looser mixed media style if I feel it’s more in line with my vision for the piece.

My original design will sometimes end up going in a totally different direction as the piece develops and certain elements and mediums begin to speak louder.
